The day to day changes. one moment I am working on documentations another I am working on system design and implementations

Day to day stuff includes standard company process/procedures etc and engineering work, mostly structural assessments atm. Has included systems, surveillance/obsolescence before. day to day work also includes company processes etc.

I tend to write Management plans, review contracts and create training power points

I am not "given" much work, I am constantly asking how I can help or what I can do (particularly from a professional or career growth perspective). I still don't get much of this despite reasonable intentions from co-workers which I feel is limiting and hindering the point of being in the grad program, if the point is to learn and develop with structure, that's just not happening. In a sense I feel I would be better off being in a non graduate role and learn quickly on the job.

Overall I am really satisfied with the variety of work on offer and the ability to try new things,

I'm running a little clean up project and update the work instruction for Maritime and Land Platform graduate. I found that the job is pretty challenging for a graduate project manager but you pick up different type of skills along the way.

I have had multiple different day to day responsibilities across my first 9 months at the company. In this role the main areas I have had responsibilities in are bid management, bid coordination, and competitor and market research. For bid management my day to day responsibilities may include completing or adjusting a bid schedules, scheduling and running appropriate meetings, and following up tasks with bid team members. For bid coordination my day to day responsibilities generally include setting things up on bid sites, adding or removing people from bid sites, and formatting documents. For competitor and market research my day to day responsibilities include researching areas of interest and collating this information into dot points or packs, and presenting/explaining the findings to the relevant people who requested this information.

I'm a mechanical engineering graduate. Most of my day-to-day responsibilities consist of 3D printing and some other additive manufacturing-related tasks, CAD modelling, submitting purchase orders for products, writing Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments, data mining and statistical analysis on measuring tolerances

Work can be a bit mundane at times with long report writing but that is just part of being an engineer.

Writing/testing/reviewing software, trying to figure out/prototype solutions to difficult problems

I work on a changing list of issues that range from fixing documentation to coming up with engineering solutions for project enhancement.

My role has managed to push me to thrive and develop on my interpersonal skills in a very effective manner. Working at BAE, I feel like I am learning something new every week. My colleagues have established a decent amount of trust within me based on my responsibilities.
