Vocational Education & Training

By virtue of funds donated worldwide, millions of underprivileged youths are provided access to tertiary education and groundbreaking research work is initiated in a diverse range of areas. The impact of philanthropy involves creating public value and helping to advance society - this is the power of fundraising.

Today, with government funding for universities decreasing, institutions must raise more private funds and garner more support in order to continue making a difference to the lives of students, local communities and the benefactors of cutting-edge research.

With such challenges, the need for high calibre advancement professionals has become evidently important to institutions in their advancement work. Institutions are seeking for candidates with advanced knowledge and practical experiences that will be able to contribute effectively to the institution's fundraising efforts. However, to date, there is a lack of structured learning and qualification opportunities thus leading to a scarce pool of talent in advancement.

In view of the above, the CASE Graduate Trainee Programme-Asia-Pacific, in partnership with participating CASE member institutions, has been developed to provide an entry point for bright, young graduates and mid-career experienced individuals into a fulfilling career raising funds; engaging stakeholders and enlisting support for education and the public value and influence these institutions serve.

This programme is an exciting way to launch your career in fundraising and provides you with an opportunity to advance education to transform lives and society. This prestigious fully paid program will begin in March 2021 for 12-months at a premier Australian institution. All-around training will be provided to boost your career start. It includes structured training, mentoring, on-the-job rotational training and secondment to another institution for four weeks. On top of that, you will also be connected to a global network of more than 80,000 advancement professionals.

We invite highly motivated graduates and early/mid-career professionals to enter the exciting world of advancement.
