Graduate Program: Tomorrow’s Leaders and Problem Solvers

  • Meaningful graduate program design
  • A career, beyond the program
  • Future focused, circular economy arena

WHO WE ARE

REMONDIS is one of the world's largest recycling, service and water companies. We’re a privately owned family company headquartered in Germany, with over 40,000 employees and operations on four continents. We’ve been here in Australia since 1982.

The waste industry is evolving at a cracking pace. REMONDIS Australia is also in the midst of our own organisational evolution. We are building the systems, processes and infrastructure we need to remain at the forefront of the circular economy journey.
We’re searching for recent graduates who have the curiosity, drive and resilience required to help us on that path.
Together, we believe we can achieve a more sustainable future; a future in which waste is a resource.

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE

We couldn’t be more excited to be hiring for our leaders and problem solvers of tomorrow, in our 2024 graduate program.

With many of REMONDIS’ current leaders joining through previous graduate programs, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built globally, for investing in wonderful graduate talent.

Our commitment to your career goes way beyond the program. During the architected 2 years, you’ll be parachuted into hands-on placements covering all corners of our business and operations, giving you varied exposure, diverse experiences and a breadth of knowledge.

You’ll have formal education in Finance, Mathematics, Data, Commerce or Business and display Commercial Awareness, Problem Solving and Creativity. During the Graduate Program with us you will develop powerful skills such as self-awareness, resilience and emotional intelligence and learn teamwork and collaboration tools.

You’ll be joining our business at a time of exciting transformation, where you’ll grow from opportunities to take accountability. Yes, there will be formal learning and supercharged development, but you won’t be in ‘training mode’. Rather your learning and growth will happen from being in a real-life setting, with exceptional mentors and a clear mission.

REASONS YOU’LL STAY

Diversity of exposure: In 2 years, you’ll understand all there is to know about our business and how it functions.

Autonomy: You’ll have the empowerment you need to be successful and the independence and autonomy to thrive.

Flexibility: You’ll be given the freedom to prioritise your time and working preferences.

Work that matters: Contribute to a more sustainable future. The solutions you’ll be representing will support businesses, the community and the environment.

Career opportunities: We are growing and with growth comes opportunity. Our vision for our graduate program is to see you grow and thrive in a fulfilling and long-term career with Remondis.

WHO YOU ARE

You have graduated in the last 18 months in Finance, Commerce, Economics or Mathermatics with a good (70> score)

Communications: You speak and communicate in English fluently, with clarity of thought, active listening skill and the ability to convey your message effectively
Learning agility: you’ll be able to grasp new concepts quickly, learning from mistakes and staying flexible and curious

Every rotation came with a sense of surprise and anticipation. I could have a good guess at what was in store for me, but with a new team and sometimes even a new location, I was faced with new experiences and more opportunities to learn.
