Luca Mosole completed his Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce at Curtin University in 2022 and is now a Graduate Engineer with BMD in Western Australia. No two days are ever the same in his role, and the following profile provides a general snapshot of what his day may involve.
Every week the development team is taken for a site walk by the Lendlease building to show the progress of works on site and talk through some of the emerging issues on site. This allows the development team to stay across all works.
BMD spends a lot of time and resources to ensure that as little dirt as possible leaves our sites, and the environmental team works closely with site management to make sure we’re using the right controls and that they’re adapted as projects progress.

I chose to work at McConnell Dowell because of the range of exciting opportunities available and, particularly the array of largescale projects currently underway and on the horizon.
I start working on a list of actions and tasks. Some tasks include procurement, reviewing shop drawings, reviewing samples, and chasing up subcontractors and consultants for submissions or information.
