The best part of being a Graduate at PMI is the Global reach and network, I often am surprised at the opportunities to work with various teams across Australia but also abroad with Asia & Europe.
Pamela Yip studied a Bachelor of Business (Double degree in Marketing and Management) at Monash University in 2016 and is now a Field Operations Assistant/ Retail Graduate at 7-Eleven Australia.
I would say just enjoy the ride that university can take you on as it can be up and down like having a job. The ride or journey is what can make the experience special. Also, travel and experience what the world has to offer as when you start a full-time job there are not as many opportunities in the first few years. Another piece of advice would be to ensure you keep and cherish the friendships you make when your students as they can become close friends for life.
I love the problem-solving aspect of my job. Customers will bring me a problem or issue they have and then it is my job to find one or many solutions and then present these to the customer.
One of the goals my manager has set for me is to try and attract new customers to the branch. This can be achieved by calling electricians who live or work in the local area but are yet to have an account.
